UNAmerican Justice
Rod Malloy, the Rosewater Foundation

UNamerican Justice is a 25-minute educational film written, directed and produced by me in collaboration with Gilliam Media Production. Malloy will be sharing the film to educate audiences on the real stories of indigenous, immigrant and refugee Americans who are successfully living life in America, despite the systemic barriers they constantly face. Hear stories directly from a Federal Defense Attorney in San Diego who represents Mexican immigrants charged with border crimes, and from a DACA-bound young female immigrant activist in Chicago, and from Cheyenne River Sioux youth in South Dakota who have lived lives focused on protesting and defending their land and their rights as human beings in America, and from the spokesperson for the Nisenan people, a Northern California abundant life tribe prior to the Gold Rush, now fighting for Federal tribal recognition and for the protection of their sacred land and traditions.

Session format:  watch 25-minute film UNamerican Justice. 15 minutes of Q&A discussion. 5-minute break. 15-minute presentation on Indigenous, Immigrant and Refugee stories.
